Lyy is a Swedish folk music group.

The band consists of Anna Lindblad (violin), Emma Björling (vocals), David Eriksson (Nyckelharpa), Martin Norberg (drums) and Petrus Johansson (guitar). They play Swedish traditional and self-written music.

The name of the group is borrowed from regional dialects and means something like listen .

history

The group was founded in October 2006. In the first few years she only appeared in Sweden, including at all major folk festivals. The first album Lyy was released in June 2010. Since 2011 there have been appearances in Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (including at the Venner Folkfrühling 2012, Folkbaltica 2016), Finland, Spain, England, Norway, Hungary and Canada. Further albums were completed in 2012 and 2016.
