Mälarhöjden is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Mälarhöjden district of the same name . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 3,000 commuters get on and off here.

The station was put into operation on May 16, 1965, when the section of the Röda linjen between Örnsberg and Sätra was inaugurated. The platforms are about 10–34 meters underground. The station is located between the Axelsberg and Bredäng stations . It is about seven kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
