The Märchenparadies Königstuhl is an amusement park on the summit of the Heidelberger Königstuhl . It was opened in 1972 by the Heidelberger Straßen- und Bergbahn AG with the aim of better utilizing the Heidelberger Bergbahn . In 1974 the plant was taken over by a private operator.

The park's attractions, more geared towards smaller children, include animated fairytale groups , an electric horse-drawn train, and disco scooters.
