Märtyrer was a German right-wing rock band from Wolfhagen that released several albums on relevant labels in the 1990s.

history

Martyrs were founded in 1989. They released two demos in 1991 and were subsequently signed by Rock-O-Rama . This released Martyr's debut album Pride , which is essentially based on the demo of the same name. Both the demo and the debut album were indexed by the federal inspection agency for media harmful to minors . In 1992 the album Hammerhart followed , which was also indexed. In 1993 a maxi was first released on Rock-O-Rama and then a self-produced album. Then the band switched to Metal Enterprises . The album Ragnarök was released there in 1995 . Another MCD was released in 1998, after which the band broke up.

Singer Kutty released the solo album Besieg das Evil in 1998 under the name King Kutty and his henchmen.

ideology

Martyrs called themselves “ patriots , but not party monkeys. [They] have nothing to do with party political matters. ”Accordingly, their texts are nationalistic and xenophobic , but not National Socialist .
