The Médiathèque de l'architecture et du patrimoine is a government agency of national importance, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Charenton-le-Pont and subordinate to the French Ministry of Culture .

tasks

The Médiathèque de l'architecture et du patrimoine (MAP), which is subordinate to the Service du Patrimoine du Ministère de la Culture , has the task of collecting, conserving and making available all documents that relate to the French Patrimoine (cultural property ) to have.

The MAP is divided into four departments:

• Archives and Library
• documentation
• Photo archive
• Center de recherches sur les monuments historiques (CRMH), which is responsible for research.

Offices

• Headquarters in Charenton-le-Pont
• Fort de Saint-Cyr for the photo archive
• Documentation center in Paris
