The furniture market Dogern is a furniture retailer based in the Baden-Württemberg Dogern , near the Swiss border. The group of companies operates a total of six furniture stores in south-west Germany. The company is an entrepreneur-run family business. The subsidiary is Mobila Wohnbedarf KG, based in Rheinfelden, Germany . In addition to advice and the sale of furniture, the group of companies offers various services, such as full customer service for customers from Germany and Switzerland. The company has more than 40 years of experience in the field of delivery and assembly of furniture and kitchens, some as far as Switzerland. The company achieved sales of around 160 million euros in 2014.
history
The company was founded in Waldshut in 1968 . Furniture was offered under the name Wohnbedarf Waldshut at the location of today's Kaufland in Waldshut. In 1974 the Dogern furniture store reopened at its current location at Gewerbestrasse 5 in Dogern. Various structural extensions to the house in Dogern followed in 1985, 1993 and 2006. In 1997, the Super-Self-Service Furniture Discount sales concept was opened in Dogern. At the end of 2017, a preliminary building request was made to extend the building to three floors. More exhibition space and space for administration should be created.
Locations
In 1995, a subsidiary of the Dogerns furniture store was opened in Rheinfelden under the name Mobilia Rheinfelden. In 2008 the name was changed to Wohnwelt Rheinfelden.
In 2007 the third company location opened. The furniture arena in Rheinfelden was opened.
The self-service market in Dogern was closed in 2010. It is replaced by the new furniture arena in the Waldshut industrial park with a sales area of 8,000 m².
In 2013 the Natura Wohnfabrik opened in Waldshut-Tiengen with 8000 m² of exhibition space. The Natura Wohnfabrik is a trend store with a huge garden furniture glass house that presents modern design in symbiosis with materials from nature.
social commitment
The group of companies has been involved with SOS Children's Villages since 2011. The organization Doctors Without Borders is also supported. Employees can voluntarily donate part of their salary under the name “Employee Donation Campaign”, a campaign initiated by an employee of the group in 2016. This supports social institutions in the region.
