Mill (Gernstall)
The mill in the Upper Swabian town of Gernstall , a district of Mindelheim in the Unterallgäu district , is a historic building from around 1800. The two-story saddle roof house has an eaves cornice . This and the gable slopes are barely profiled. To the east, at a right angle, stands a free farm building from the period from 1820 to 1830. This has a box cornice and a saddle roof. On the south side in the west part is a round arched gate, in the east part a rectangular gate. Furthermore, there are segment-arched light openings on both sides. The eastern gable side is more richly structured. below there are two blind arcades with a profiled combat cornice and profiled archivolts. At the corners there are pilaster strips with profiled cornices, and profiled cornices on the sloping gables. The north side is partly boarded up.
