Mill Choiseau
The mill Choiseau in Cély , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France , was built in the 16th century. In 1985 the watermill on the road to Fleury-en-Bière was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as a Monument historique .
The mill buildings, which were given up by the owners after the Second World War , were rescued by a new owner at the end of the 1980s, who renovated the building ensemble and also restored the grinder. The buildings with the mill technology and the water-bearing canal, which was originally dug by hand, are classified as monument historique.
The lavoir (wash house) of the former owners is still preserved on the canal .
