The mill "Michel" is a mill plant with a grinding mill and an agricultural facility in the district of Elsoff , the town of Bad Berleburg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia , which has been closed since 1965 .

The mill is located northeast of the village center at the foot of the Reitelsberg. The Elsoffbach supplied the required water .
history
A mill in Elsoff is mentioned as early as 1300. It was owned by the Frankenberg monastery . The new mill was built around 1740. The builder had worked in the mill in Erndtebrück until 1739 . The mill was driven by two parallel steel water wheels. Only the shaft was still made of wood. The technology can alternatively be operated with an electric motor.
The courtyard was added to the list of monuments on March 28, 1995 .
