The mill of Beauchet (or Boschet) is one of about 70 tide mills ( French Moulins à marée ) in France . It is located near the hamlet of Le Beauchet on the border of Saint-Père-Marc-en-Poulet and Saint-Suliac , in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , at the mouth of the Goutte stream before it meets the Rance flows out.

The mill consists of the actual building and a dike that separates part of the Goutte from the rest and forms a pond of around 10 hectares.

There was a tide mill on the site before 1542, which was rebuilt in 1882 after a fire. At the beginning of the 20th century it was converted into a flour mill. Their wheels were replaced by a 27 hp water turbine in 1933. The use of the flood was discontinued in March 1962 in favor of electricity. The milling activity was stopped in 1981.

The mill building is a rectangular granite building with two floors. The building, its furnishings and its dike have been a listed building since 1986.

A few hundred meters further north, in the mouth of the Rance, is the Quinard tidal mill, in Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets .
