The Munich women's choir has been directed by Katrin Wende-Ehmer since 1989 . In addition to concerts in Bavaria and beyond the country's borders, the Munich women's choir, which is a member of the Bavarian Singers' Association and IFCM , regularly takes part in national and international competitions.

- 2nd place at the international choir competition Marienhöhe in Darmstadt (1995)
- 1st place at the Bavarian Choir Competition (1997 and 2001 and 2005)
- 2nd prize at the Llangollen International Choir Competition in Wales (2000 and 2007)
- 2nd prize at the German Choir Competition (2002 and 2006) and a special prize at the German Choir Competition (2006)
