The Munich Football Association (MFB) was a local football association in the Bavarian capital, Munich . It was founded on October 9, 1903 and existed until about 1909.

The following members are known: MTV Munich 1879 , FC Bayern Munich (later FA Bayern in MSC ), TV Munich 1860 , FC Wacker Munich (later FA Wacker in SC Monachia ), 1. Münchner FC 1896 , Münchener SC , FC Bavaria Munich (later FA Bavaria of the TG Munich), TS Munich 1887 , TG Munich, FC Union Munich, TV Neuhausen and TV Sendling.

After FC Bayern Munich played a cup competition for Munich clubs with the FC Bayern Cup in the seasons 1901/02 (as the unofficial Bavarian championship) and 1902/03, an association was founded on October 9, 1903 with the Munich Football Association, who announced a championship in the same season. When tensions arose between the pure soccer clubs and the gymnastics clubs with a soccer department just a year later, several previous member clubs resigned in September 1904 and founded the Association of Munich Soccer Clubs (VMFV) on October 7, 1904 . After the dissolution of the VMFV in 1906, these clubs returned and took part again in the point games in the Munich Football Association. Over time, some football clubs each joined a gymnastics club as an independent football department (FA).

A different number of clubs took part in the individual championships. The championship was played in an autumn round and a spring round in the 1903/04 and 1904/05 seasons. After that, the autumn round was canceled in favor of the games in the eastern district of the Association of South German Football Associations . The coverage of the individual games in the contemporary sources was very sketchy.
