Munich city magazine
The Münchner Stadtmagazin was a monthly city magazine for the greater Munich area from February 1990 to December 2001 , which was published by Münchner Kultur GmbH . In 1999 the Munich city magazine celebrated its 10th birthday with the premiere of the “Long Night of Munich Museums” which it initiated. But on June 20, 2001 it was replaced by the fortnightly city magazine GO> .
Delimitations
The Münchner Stadtmagazin is not to be confused with current city magazines such as GO> , whose predecessor was the Münchner Stadtmagazin from 1990 to 2001 , or munichx , both of which are nicknamed “Münchner Stadtmagazin”. The Münchner Stadtzeitung (1980–1989) was also known as the “Münchner Stadtmagazin” without ever having been connected to the Munich city magazine mentioned here .
