The Mützingenta Art - Craft - Culture is a place held annually cultural festival in Mützingen (part of Zernien , Lüchow-Dannenberg ) in Wendland . The festival was initially part of the Kulturelle Landpartie - Wunderpunkte im Wendland and has been independent since 2010.

Mützingenta

The "Festival of the Senses" usually takes place between Ascension Day and Pentecost on the grounds of the old brickworks in Mützingen. In addition to a permanent handicraft exhibition, a cultural program is offered every evening. The Mützingenta claims to be a political festival, and there is information on the topics of nuclear policy, Gorleben and alternative electricity providers, as well as stands of the citizens' initiative environmental protection Lüchow-Dannenberg and the anti-nuclear network contrAtom.

The Mützingenta is also known for its rich culinary offer. There are several camping options next to the festival site.

Old brick factory

The building of the old brickworks was rebuilt by the artist Rosi Schoppe and expanded into a kind of meeting center. Schoppe organizes offers on the square. She understands her concern as a mixture between political and “spiritual” work.
