The MBB Industries is a medium-sized, family-run holding company with headquarters in Berlin . The company was founded by Gert-Maria Freimuth and Christof Nesemeier, who still hold the majority in the company.

history

The company operated under the name "Nesemeier & Freimuth GmbH" until 1996. The company achieved a higher level of awareness through the purchase of "MBB Gelma Industrieelektronik GmbH" from Daimler-Benz Aerospace AG in 1997. "MBB Gelma Industrieelektronik GmbH" was a former subsidiary of the Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm group. On May 9, 2006, the founders Christof Nesemeier and Gert-Maria Freimuth brought the company, renamed MBB SE, to the German stock exchange . Since June 20, 2008, the shares of MBB SE have been traded in the Prime Standard segment . To this day, the founders are the majority owners of the company.

MBB SE is a medium-sized, family-run group of companies founded in 1995. The group comprises six subsidiaries with 3,505 employees. MBB has already listed two of the six subsidiaries, Aumann AG and Delignit AG, on the stock exchange. The company focuses on the acquisition and management of medium-sized, technology-focused industrial companies. MBB SE strives for long-term cooperation and not for resale.

Business figures

Consolidated sales in the 2019 financial year amounted to € 592 million after € 507 million in the previous year and EBITDA to € 67.6 million after € 54.5 million in the previous year. Equity amounted to € 474.6 million at the end of 2019, compared with € 499.3 million at the end of 2018. In the 2018 financial year, the group achieved sales of over half a billion euros for the first time.
