MIAME

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

MIAME ( English Minimum Information About a Microarray Experiment , minimal information about a microarray experiment) is a quality standard for microarrays .

properties

MIAME was developed in 2001 by the Functional Genomics Data Society (FGED). The extent of necessary information is used for by MIAME reproducibility of microarray - experiments defined. The output format used is not defined. There are various programs for displaying and processing MIAME data, e.g. B. Annotare, MAGE-TAB, KUTE-BASE, MicroGen, MIAMExpress, Gene Traffic, Ipsogen Cancer Profiler, BASE, GeneData Expressionist, Partisan Array LIMS, LIMaS, Gene Director, GeneSpring and GeNet, MCHIPS, maxd, GenoWiz, RAD, GenePix , TeraGenomics, almaZen, GeneSifter, SeqExpress, MIAME Spice, ArrayHub, Feature Extraction, TM4, SAS Microarray, GenStat, GeneMaths XT and Tab2MAGE. One database for MIAME data is the Gene Expression Omnibus . Some other proteomics methods are defined according to MIAPE standards.
