Kotwica Kolobrzeg (officially Miejski Klub Piłkarski Kotwica Kolobrzeg ) is a Polish football club from the city of Kolobrzeg ( dt. Kolberg ) in the Province of West Pomerania .

history

The association was founded on August 15, 1946. The club has won the trophy at district level several times and has qualified for the Polish soccer cup several times . There the club never got further than the second or third round. In the summer of 2008, the club made it to the newly created 2nd division . There the club reached sixth place in the first season. However, the club still had to relegate to the 3rd division because they did not get a license. In the 2013/14 season, the club prevailed in the playoffs against CWKS Resovia and Ursus Warszawa and made it to the 2nd division . The club only reached 16th place, which usually means relegation. Since the relegated Widzew Łódź and Flota Świnoujście did not appear in the second division in the next season, the club managed to stay relegated anyway. In the 2016/17 season, the club was relegated to the third division in sixteenth .
