The MLP Corporate University (CU) is an in-house academy for commercial agents of MLP Finanzberatung SE in Wiesloch. It was founded in 1999. Around 170 internal and external lecturers teach at the CU on around 22,000 participant days per year. At the Wiesloch campus, it has 25 training rooms and a lecture hall.

It offers MLP sales representatives a wide range of advanced training courses with individual learning paths. In addition, university degrees can be completed at the CU.

Certifications and Accreditations

The CU currently has three certifications and accreditations.

Certification by the FIBAA

In 2012, the CU was first certified by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) , at that time as a corporate learning unit. In 2019, the international certification seal of FIBAA was awarded for five CU degrees, which corresponds to the certification of continuing education courses at universities.

Due to the FIBAA certification, further training content of the CU can also be recognized in bachelor's and master's degree programs.

Accreditation through EFMD-CLIP

Since 2007 the CU has been awarded the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD) seal of approval . This accreditation is currently awarded to 21 corporate universities and academies in Europe that work in mutual exchange to continuously improve their learning opportunities.

Accreditation by the FPSB

Since 2012 the CU has been supported by the Financial Planning Standards Board Deutschland e. V. (FPSB) to qualify as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) , the highest internationally recognized standard for financial advisors.

Educational offer

At the CU, MLP sales representatives can put together their individual learning path from a modular educational offer. More than 300 learning units from web-based training to webinars and numerous face-to-face events are available in the branches and headquarters in Wiesloch .

Commercial representatives can also complete an academic degree at the CU while working: MLP has introduced a master's degree in “Financial Planning and Management” (M. Sc.) Together with the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation.

In addition, MLP consultants can complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in “Financial Consulting for Companies and Private Customers”. For this purpose, the CU cooperates with the BZB Berlin-Zweibrücken Business School, which organizes the course on behalf of the University of Kaiserslautern . Course content that was attended at the CU will be taken into account.
