MODE F

MODUS F stands for MOD ell U ompany S chule - F EADERSHIP and is one of the Foundation for Education Pact of Bavaria in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture as a major project funded pilot project to improve the leadership skills among school principals of schools in Bavaria . The pilot project is the continuation of the pilot project MODUS21 , which was intended to promote independence and entrepreneurial thinking in schools.

procedure

The aim is to test and develop new management structures in schools. The participants develop and test methods on behalf of all school administrators who will have to take on more management tasks in the future.

The pilot project consists of the so-called module 1 broad further qualification of the participants on the topic of leadership behavior and the module 2 development, testing and evaluation of new leadership models in schools , in which school-specific focuses from the areas of practicable leadership , team development in the school management team , delegation of tasks , Theory and practice of target agreements , as well as recognizing and promoting leadership skills in the teaching staff can be chosen.

Positive results should be adopted in the school practice. The test results also influence the following comparable model test PROFIL21 for vocational schools .

A duration of five years is estimated for the experiment.

In the 2006/07 school year, 52 school principals from all types of schools , with the exception of vocational schools, took part in the experiment.
