Bavarian Education Pact Foundation

The Bavarian Education Pact Foundation was founded on October 12, 2000 under the patronage of the Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber and is a public-private partnership of the Bavarian State Government with 143 companies in the Free State of Bavaria .

Basic assets of 5.5 million euros were made available for the foundation . The purpose is to help shape a modern and sustainable education system .

Projects

In order to promote the process of internal school development on a broad basis and to anchor it sustainably in the Bavarian educational landscape, the foundation initiates and designs large-scale projects.

Current major projects

  • Flexible elementary school - flexibility of the initial lessons in the entrance level
  • MODUS F ( MODUS Leadership ) - Trying out and developing new leadership structures in schools
  • Profile 21 - Vocational school in personal responsibility

  • KOMPASS - competence based on strength and self-confidence
  • GribS - primary schools for the individual advancement of Bavarian pupils
  • isi ( Inner School Development Innovation Award ) - the Bavarian school quality award
  • Kidz ( Ki Direction garden d he Z uture ) - individual early education of children from three to six years

  • i lern ( Bavarian : “ I learn ”) - Notebooks for class groups
  • Talent im Land - Bavaria - student scholarships for talented immigrants
  • Center of Excellence - Awards for quality in school development
  • ViP ( trust in partnership ) - new impulses for parent work
  • Focus secondary school - secondary school as a cross-district school in large cities
  • Exercitium Paedagogicum (The results of the completed pilot phase of the model experiment, in which students are used as teaching assistants, were adopted by the Ministry of Culture.)

Management functions

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is Alfred Gaffal , President of the Association of Bavarian Business . The Honorary Chairman of the Board of Trustees is Michael Piazolo , Bavarian State Minister for Education and Culture . The chairwoman of the foundation board is Anna Stolz , state secretary for culture in the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture, Science and Art.
