Inner school development innovation award

The Inner School Development Innovation Prize (isi) is a project of the Bavarian Education Pact Foundation to improve the quality of teaching at Bavarian schools. Since 2001, the innovation prize has been awarded annually to three institutions in the categories special school , elementary school , secondary school , secondary school , grammar school and vocational school , which succeed in sustainably improving the quality of teaching and education. In special cases, special prizes are also awarded.

A jury made up of teachers, parents and students as well as representatives from business and the school inspectorate will decide on the award . The award is based on internationally proven evaluation criteria. The quality of teaching, school identity, modern school management, teaching of specialist knowledge and social skills are all assessed.
