MS MR [ mɪs ˈmɪstəʳ ] is an American pop duo . It was founded in New York and consists of the musicians Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow. Their music, which they call "Tumblr-Glitch-Pop", is a mixture of electro-pop and wave .
history
The duo released the music video for their first single, Hurricane, on April 26, 2012. The single was released on iTunes on July 10, 2012. It received rave reviews from both critics and the public, receiving praise for its "vintage sound". Hurricane hit number 38 in the German charts and was featured on the band's debut EP titled Candy Bar Creep Show , along with Bones , Dark Doo Wop and Ash Tree Lane . The EP was released on September 14, 2012. The piece Bones was used in the American trailer for the third season of Game of Thrones . Furthermore, Hurricane is the theme song of the VOX series The Club of Red Ribbons . The video of her second single Fantasy was released on YouTube on February 4, 2013 . The song was also available on iTunes from March 8, 2013. After its release, the single received good reviews. It has been described as "contagious" and "beguiling" . The debut album Secondhand Rapture was released on May 14, 2013. Fantasy has been used in Ampya advertising since June 2013 .
