MTV Next is an American reality show radio station MTV . Depending on the season, it will be broadcast in the original version with subtitles or dubbed in Germany. There were 285 episodes broadcast in six seasons. The actors act at least partly according to the script, and the identity of the respective characters is only based on that of their actors. A similar format was the show Blech oder Blume, produced in 1997 and presented by Stermann & Grissemann on ORF .
concept
On each show, either a young man or a young woman has five blind dates . Once the candidate has enough of the date, he calls ( "Next" dt. "Next!") And the next date partner's turn. For every part of the minute that the date runs, the date partner receives one US dollar . If the date goes well, the candidate can offer the date partner either to take the money raised or to meet with him again.
It often happens that a partner is sent away again at the first eye contact just because of their appearance. During the individual dates, the four other data partners wait in a converted luxury bus and do not hear anything of their competitors' dates. While the dates are running, the four other candidates are shown again and again in the bus, how they pass the time, argue or make friends.
The dates are sometimes conventional activities like eating out, but also extraordinary activities like donating blood together or riding bulls . Sometimes there are also episodes in which two homosexuals meet.
