Maçãs de Caminho is a place and a former municipality in central Portugal .
history
The place was until the beginning of the 19th century Vila (small town) and seat of a district. In the course of the administrative reforms after the Liberal Revolution in 1822 , the district was then dissolved and Alvaiázere incorporated.
With the territorial reform in Portugal in 2013 , the municipality was dissolved and incorporated into the municipality of Alvaiázere.

Maçãs de Caminho was the seat of a community of the same name ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Alvaiázere , in the Leiria district . 356 inhabitants lived in the municipality on an area of 7.66 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
