Mabel Karr
Mabel Karr (real Mabel Campolongo Jaime ; born October 7, 1934 in Buenos Aires ; † May 5, 2001 in Madrid ) was an Argentine actress .
Karr came to Spain early and first attracted attention as an actress in several photo novelas before acting as an actress in films. Her first film was Las chicas de la Cruz Roja in 1958 (directed by Rafael J. Salvía ). In 1960 she married her colleague Fernando Rey and ended her career in 1974 to be able to raise the children.
After Rey's death, she resumed acting and starred in films, on stage and in television roles.
