The Credit Europe Bank NV is an international financial institution . In Germany it is best known for its internet offers for overnight money and fixed-term deposits.

history

The bank was founded in 1994 under the name Finansbank NV as a subsidiary of the Turkish Finansbank. It operates with a comprehensive banking license under the supervision of the Dutch Central Bank . When the National Bank of Greece acquired a stake in Finansbank, the Dutch subsidiary was spun off; NBG had recently withdrawn completely from Central Europe.

In 2007 the name was changed to Credit Europe Bank NV. In the meantime, the bank has branches in Germany and Malta, as well as subsidiaries in Ukraine, Dubai and Romania. Credit Europe Bank NV has specialized as a trade finance bank to actively participate in the financing of international import and export activities. The goal: to further expand business activities within the European Union by providing secured lending for both local and foreign companies.

Since entering the private customer business, the bank has also developed into a provider of overnight money accounts, fixed-term deposits and personal loans. In addition, the bank supports wealthy private clients and institutional investors in their search for investment opportunities in European markets.

Credit Europe Group NV is 100% owned by Fiba Holding A. Ş. ( Istanbul ), which in turn belongs to 97.99% of the Özyeğin family.
