Maciej Murawski (born February 20, 1974 in Zielona Góra , Poland ) is a former Polish football player and coach.

Club career

Murawski played in Poland for Lech Poznań and Legia Warszawa, among others, before he played for Arminia Bielefeld in Germany from 2002 to 2004 . From 2004 to 2005 he was under contract with Aris Saloniki in Greece . From 2005 to 2008 Murawski played for Apollon Kalamarias . For the second half of the 2008/2009 season he moved back to Poland to Cracovia Kraków . However, ended his active career already after an assignment in the Ekstraklasa .

National team

He played six games for the Polish national soccer team and took part in the 2002 World Cup with Poland .

Coaching career

After his active football career, he first worked as a TV expert for the Bundesliga at Eurosport Polska and for Ekstraklasa at Canal + Polska. From June 13, 2009 to June 30, 2010 he coached the Polish third division club Lechia Zielona Góra . From 2010 to 2011 he was a coach at Zawisza Bydgoszcz , who also play in the 3rd division.
