The Mack & Schühle AG is a German wine trading company with consolidated sitting in Baden-Württemberg Owen and one of the largest wine importers and -distributeuren in Central Europe.
history
The company was founded in 1939 as a regional wine trading company Mack & Schühle GmbH and converted into a stock corporation in 2001 . The company headquarters was expanded in 2011 to include a new building. The family company has specialized in the global wine trade and is now the third generation to run the business. All shares are owned by the Mack family.
In April 2010, the company was the first company in the wine industry to be certified with the IFS Broker standard.
Divisions
The company is divided into three divisions:
- Producer brands Off-Trade - whose producer brand wines are mainly sold in the food retail trade and Cash & Carry;
- Exclusive & Private Label - in which customer-specific products are created;
- Producer brands On-Trade - a supplier to specialist retailers, specialist wholesalers, restaurants and hotel chains.
