Madeleine O'Neill

Madeleine O'Neill (* 1867 or 1868 ; † after 1926 ) was an English tennis player.

O'Neill took part in the Wimbledon tournament from 1905 . In 1909 and 1913 she reached the quarter-finals there in singles and in 1913 the semi-finals in mixed competition alongside Norman Kidson .

In 1922, at the age of 54, she took part in the Wimbledon Championships for the last time and reached the third round. This makes her the oldest player to date to have won a match in the Wimbledon individual competition.
