Varmette started in Park City in December 2012 in the Nor-Am Cup for the first time and finished in 15th and 12th place. She made her debut in the World Cup in January 2015 at the Deer Valley Resort , which she finished in eighth place. At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she finished 11th. In the 2016/17 season she won the overall ranking and the aerials discipline ranking of the Nor-Am-Cup with two first and second places and one third place. In the following season she reached two first places and one second place, the second place in the Aerials discipline ranking of the Nor-Am-Cup. In the 2018/19 season she made it into the top ten of all five World Cup appearances and thus achieved sixth place in the Aerials World Cup. At the season highlight, the 2019 World Championships in Park City, she jumped to 17th place.
