Mady Manstein
Mady Manstein (born: Helene Ruppert ; * April 10, 1928 ; † January 27, 1991 in Budapest , Hungary ) was a German television announcer .
Without camera or stage experience, Mady Manstein became one of the TV announcers for West German Broadcasting in 1954 , which she shaped as a face from the very beginning for over a decade. In 1961 she made a guest appearance in the television film We Got Away Again . In 1968 she left television to take over a hotel, the Flachauerhof , in the Austrian winter sports region of Radstädter Tauern .
Mady Manstein was married to the Hungarian composer Paul Gyöngy for the second time . She died in Budapest in January 1991 after an asthma attack and was buried in the Melaten Cemetery in Cologne (Hall 44 No. 188).
