Maestro Shipping is a Swiss shipping company that deals with RoRo , bulk cargo and refrigerated shipping .
history
The shipping company Maestro Shipping was founded in January 2005 and has six own reefer vessels with relatively high capacities of 14'000-15'000 dwt . One of the reefer ships was built in 1984, three were built in 1985 and two in 1988 and are around 30 years old. Four of these ships operate for Great White Fleet , the shipping arm of Chiquita .
The Ice River was built as the Reefer Jambu , the Ice Rose as the American Reefer and the African Reefer at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard for the Greek shipping company Armada and have five instead of the usual four decks.
The company's own two RoRo ships Maestro Sun and Maestro Universe were put into service in 1986 and sail under the flag of the Marshall Islands .
The three bulk carriers Maestro Diamond and Maestro Pearl with around 37,000 dwt were delivered in 2015 and Maestro Lion with 32,000 dwt in 1999. They also fly the flag of the Marshall Islands.
