Maga (Charakene)
Maga was a king of the Charakene and is only known from numerous coins. He probably ruled at the end of the second century AD. The name written in Aramaic appears as mʾg , which is interpreted as Maga. On these same coins he is referred to as the son of a king Attambelos, who is not otherwise documented and is usually referred to as Attambelus VIII. Maga is the last documented ruler of the Charakene. Its coins are purely Parthian in style.
