Magdalena Cielecka (born February 20, 1972 in Myszków ) is a Polish actress .

Magdalena Cielecka received her acting training at the State Drama School PWST in Krakow . She received her diploma in 1996. From 1995 to 2002 she was an ensemble member at the Teatr Stary in Krakow. Since 2001 she has appeared regularly in productions by the Warsaw Teatr Rozmaitości . In 1995 she made her film debut in the film Pokuszenie , directed by Barbara Sass , for which she was honored as best actress at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia .

In 2016 Magdalena Cielecka again achieved international renown with the film "United States of Love" by Tomasz Wasilewski, in which she played the leading role of Iza. This film was awarded the Silver Bear at the Berlinale in 2016.

Magdalena Cielecka is currently playing a number of roles in Polish film productions and is mainly active as a theater actress in Krzysztof Warlikowski's "Nowy Teatr" in Warsaw.
