Magdalene Poller-Hruschka
Magdalene Poller-Hruschka , née Magdalene Hruschka ( 1786 - November 8, 1846 in Vienna ) was an Austrian theater actress .
Life
After trying her hand at smaller stages, she entered the Hofburgtheater for the first time on June 14, 1802 as "Jeanette" in the drama of the same name, which was very popular at the time. Her reception was extremely favorable, for her talent was widely recognized and the debutante, endowed with rich gifts by nature, immediately engaged. As a real member of the Hofbühne, she appeared for the first time on October 19, 1802 as "Lanassa".
The artist soon won widespread applause in the field of young lovers as she worked tirelessly to develop her skills.
After the death of the court actress Johanna Costenoble, she was entrusted with the intriguing female roles, and she performed them with distinction.
And when she celebrated the anniversary of her forty years at the Hofburgtheater on October 19, 1842, this respected artist could look back on a very honorable career with joy and satisfaction.
In 1843 she retired, but stayed in Vienna, where she died in 1846.
