The RitterRost-Magic Park Verden is an amusement park in Verden (Aller) , which is located between Hanover and Bremen on the A27 . The park describes itself as “Germany's only magic amusement park!”. Accordingly, he has specialized thematically in the areas of magic and fairy tales . It is also a stop on the German Fairy Tale Route . In the fairy tale forest, six fairy tales can be seen in a large setting, starting with Hansel and Gretel.
history
The park was opened in 1971 under the name of Märchenpark Verden . After a few changes of ownership, the park was renamed Freizeitpark Verden when bankruptcy threatened in February 2002 . The Serengeti Park, under the management of the Sepe family, took over the park and started a new beginning with a new name and a new concept.
With the start of the 2019 season, the name was changed to RitterRost-Magic Park Verden . A long-term cooperation was concluded with the rights provider Carlsen Verlag .
Attractions
In Ritter Rost-Verden Magic Park are a log flume , a family coaster , swing boat , whirligig , a children's train and boat - raft - and tractor rides , vintage train and jogging path available. In the 2015 season, a play area in the form of a fairytale castle with many slides was added. In addition, the characters from the children's series Ritter Rost can be experienced up close.
There is also a petting zoo , a mini golf course , a dinosaur island and a bouncy facility with trampolines and a bouncy castle . There is also a theater for around 300 spectators.
