Magnus (noble family)

The barons of Magnus are a noble Prussian family. Friedrich Martin Magnus (1796–1869) received the Prussian nobility on March 2, 1853 and was also given the status of baron on December 18, 1868 .

The family came through the F. Mart banking house. Magnus to wealth and was the owner of the Kuhna , Tielitz and Wendisch-Ossig estates in the Görlitz district (today Gmina Zgorzelec ) as well as Upper and Lower Oelsa in the Rothenburg district in Prussian Silesia and Drehsa in the Kingdom of Saxony .

The barons crown: the crowned helmet with a blue and gold cover on the right and a black and silver cover on the left. He wears a black eagle that looks to the right and is also armored between two buffalo horns, the right blue of which is covered with the six-pointed golden star, the left is divided nine times by black and silver.
