Magnus Broka

Magnus Broka , partly also Magnus Broka Knutsson (* around 1190 ; † after 1230 ) comes from the Bjälbo family and was the son of Jarl Knut Birgersson .

It is unclear who he was married to. According to the Swedish historian Dick Harrissons, possibly with Sigrid Knutsdotter. One source states that his wife was a daughter of Erik Knutsson , Catherine of Sweden , whom he married between 1225 and 1230. There is evidence that he had a son by the name of Knut Magnusson , who, according to the Norwegian Håkonssaga, was a pretender to the Swedish throne after Erik Eriksson's death in 1250.
