Magnus Jerneck

Magnus Jerneck (born July 3, 1951 ) is a Swedish political scientist . He is Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Lund University .

Jerneck studied at Lund University, where he graduated in 1975. He then did his doctorate on American-Swedish relations during the Vietnam War and received his Ph. D. in 1983. In 1993, Jerneck conducted research as a “visiting scholar” at Stanford University . Since 1997 he has been director of the university affiliated Center for European Studies in the southern Swedish city of Lund . Jerneck is an expert on Swedish relations with the European Union .
