The Mahlsdorf linden tree is a natural monument in the Berlin district of Mahlsdorf in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district .

history

The Mahlsdorf linden tree is one of the oldest winter linden trees in the Mahlsdorf district and stands in front of the old parish church on Hönower Straße . It's only 10 meters high and a respectable 4.45 meters in circumference. Its age is estimated to be at least 300 years, it was renovated in 1995 for 8,000 German marks , secured with steel cables and fenced in.
