Mahmoud Ahmed Sherifo

Mahmoud Ahmed Sherifo (* 1948 in the southern region , Eritrea ) is an Eritrean politician .

He joined the Eritrean Liberation Front in 1967 . In 1992 he became the country's second foreign minister , succeeding Mohammed Said Bareh . From 2000 to 2001 he was Minister of the Interior .
