Maiestas Carolina

With Maiestas Carolina is Code refers to the Charles IV. 1351-1354 for the Kingdom of Bohemia was design. The phrase was coined in 1617.

The 127 articles developed on the basis of local law and the constitutions of Melfi Frederick II (1231) were intended to strengthen the power of the king, which is why the Bohemian estates resisted until Charles IV dropped the project in 1355.
