The Main Bridge Obernburg is a road bridge in Obernburg am Main ( Lower Franconia ). It spans the Main with state road 2308 and sidewalks on both sides at river kilometer 104.93 and connects the city of Obernburg with Markt Elsenfeld to the east .

It was opened as the third Main Bridge in Obernburg on November 5, 1981. The predecessors were located downstream in the place (and on the pillars) of today's pedestrian bridge Obernburg .

The bridge consists of a western bridge structure, a dam section, and an eastern bridge structure. The western bridge structure spans federal highway 469 , cycle paths and Main. The eastern bridge structure spans Glanzstoffstrasse and the Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg railway line . Bridge ramps are connected to both sides.

The federal highway 469 in the direction of Aschaffenburg is connected to the western bridge structure via direct access and exit (also bridge structures). The direction of travel Miltenberg connects a partial Kleeblatt-Ohr from the south to the western bridge ramp.

The Glanzstoffstraße is connected to the dam section via a half-leaf clover.

The cycle path, the adjacent Mainanlagen Park and the fairground can be reached via the ramp to the main road towards Aschaffenburg and a short flight of stairs.

The bridge is heavily used by traffic. To relieve the pressure, the construction of another bridge ( Südbrücke Kleinwallstadt ) is planned downstream, not far from the Obernburg city limits .
