Makhaola Ndebele

Makhaola-Mosuoe Siyanda Njabulo Ndebele (born September 7, 1971 in Maseru , Lesotho ) is a South African actor , playwright , theater producer and director.

Life

Ndebeles parents are the literary scholar and writer Njabulo Ndebele and Mpho Ndebele, née Malebo; they had met while studying at the University of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland . Ndebele lived in Lesotho until he was around 20 years old, interrupted by extended stays in the UK and the US . then in Cape Town and finally in Johannesburg .

Makhaola Ndebele started his acting career in 1997 in the series The Principal . He became known for his role in the movie Money Monster .

Ndebele obtained a Master of Arts degree in Dramatic Art from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015 .

2016 he was in Johannesburg artistic director of three Municipal Theater Johannesburg Theater , Soweto Theater and Roodepoort Theater appointed. The largest of the three theaters is the Mandela Theater with 1069 seats in the Johannesburg Theater. In the same year he won the Naledi Theater Award for his Setswana -language play Lepatata, which was performed at the Johannesburg Market Theater .

Nedebele is married and has a daughter (as of 2015).
