Makoto Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 誠 Watanabe Makoto ; born September 25, 1980 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Watanabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract with Ventforet Kofu in 2003 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed three league games. In 2005 he moved to the third division club ALO's Hokuriku (today: Kataller Toyama). At the end of the 2008 season, the club rose to the J2 League. For the club he completed 159 league games. At the end of 2010 he ended his career as a football player.
