Macrofauna

As Macrofauna refers to the fraction of the ground-dwelling animals, mm in the size range of from 2 to 20 mm. So it is in size between the meiofauna and the megafauna .

In terrestrial habitats including as various members of worms (z. B. earthworms), snails and arthropods such as spiders and insects .
