Mal Baird

Mal Baird (actually Malcolm David Baird; born July 6, 1948 ) is a former Australian hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .

At the Pacific Conference Games in 1969 and at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , he won silver.

In 1972 he was eliminated from the Olympic Games in Munich , and in 1973 he won bronze at the Pacific Conference Games.

From 1969 to 1972 he was Australian champion four times in a row. He set his personal best of 13.8 s on March 12, 1972 in Sydney .
