The 2650 tonne superstructure is a steel framework box girder . It consists of two at a distance of 6.5 m arranged 12 m high diamond trusses with parallel upper and lower chords, with wind associations are interconnected. The track runs inside the box girder over the lower wind bracing.

The pillars are built on rock, with 8000 m³ of concrete being required for each foundation . The piers were constructed using sliding formwork , and the superstructure was cantilevered .
