Malak Resen ( Bulgarian Малък Резен ; 'Small Disk') is a 2191 m high mountain in the northeast of the Vitosha Mountains in Bulgaria . 1.5 km in a south-westerly direction is the 2290 m high Tscherni Wrach ('Black Summit'), the highest mountain of Vitoschas. The Bulgarian capital Sofia is located directly to the north of Malak Resen .
The mountain can be reached via the Romanski chairlift and is the starting point for a trip to the three highest mountains in the mountains: Cherni Wrach, Goljam Resen ( 2277 m ) and Skoparnik ( 2226 m ).
Trivia
The Rezen-Knoll survey on Livingston Island , part of the Antarctic New Shetland Islands , was named after the mountains Malak Rezen and Goljam Rezen.
