The Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Petaling Jaya , Selangor State is a private technical university in Malaysia. It was founded as a Research University in 2000 with the help of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology .
history
In 1997 the MUST Ehsan Foundation received 100 million ringgit from the Malaysian government to set up the university in cooperation with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology . In 2000 the university was founded. Study operations began in 2002 with 46 students in three master’s courses. The university management consists of a President, a Provost, the Vice President for Research and the Vice President for Administration.
